Beth Ann Powers is an award-winning dramatist, performer, and sketch comedy powerhouse whose work has been delighting audiences for over a decade. Known for her bold characters, whip-smart writing, and fearless stage presence, Beth Ann brings her unique comedic voice to the forefront in her latest one-woman show, Beth Ann’s Super Terrific Very Funny Character Comedy Extravaganza Show. In addition to her solo work, she is a proud company member of acclaimed sketch comedy troupe Rails Comedy and is a trailblazer in the Washington, DC comedy scene as co-founder of DC’s first-ever all-women sketch team, Chaps. Her work as a comedien has been featured on stages across the country and internationally, with performances at top festivals including Montreal Sketchfest, Philadelphia Sketchfest, Austin Sketchfest, NYC Sketchfest, IO Fest Chicago, North Carolina Sketchfest, and New South Sketchfest. Beyond sketch, Beth Ann is an accomplished playwright and screenwriter. She holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Theater Arts: Performance Creation from the University of Minnesota. Her screenplay Saving Little Hope was a winner of the 2022 Alfred P. Sloan Script Competition, and that same year she received the Mary Marlin Fisher Award for her stage/audio play The Real Girls. Her plays have been produced regionally across the U.S., from Minnesota to New York City. In 2015, Beth Ann launched Slap Happy Studios, a theater and production company committed to bold, innovative storytelling. She continues to serve as its Artistic Director, fostering new work across mediums.

Rails Comedy, founded in 2021, is a rising force in the Washington, D.C. comedy scene with a focus on the power of ensemble comedy. Rails Comedy has appeared in sketch comedy festivals around the US and Canada, including New York City, Philadelphia, Montreal, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Austin. They are a proud co-founder of DC Sketchfest, the first festival dedicated to sketch comedy in the capital region, which performed to sold-out audiences in 2024 and 2025.

Seth K. Thomas is a Los Angeles based comedian who specializes in sketch comedy. Seth is a graduate of The Second City, Chicago Conservatory; former member of the award winning comedy duo The Defiant Thomas Brothers; winner of the 2024 Toronto Sketchfest Producer's Pick Award; and a peddler of a book he wrote.
