About this event

Todd A. Davis is an “elder-millennial” who was raised on Tex Avery cartoons and SNL reruns creating a style described as “highbrow silly.” The son of a Baptist minister, Todd has a tongue-n-cheek approach to life and after serving as a law enforcement officer… a healthy disdain for authority. He wrote his first comic book, The First Adventures on Earth with Adam & Steve and was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2014. He is one-third of the Cinema Shock podcast, offering his ‘fresh-take’ on cult and genre films and during the pandemic, launched his own show, Computer Resume Podcast – covering the entire Star Trek franchise in chronological order. Last year, Todd launched his monthly show, Deez 20 – performers & personalities playing Dungeons & Dragons in front of a live audience. In 2023, he headlined in Los Angeles and opened for comedian Todd Barry in New York City.

Jay Boyd is an up-and-coming comedian whose humor is as real as it gets. Awkward, honest, and straight from the heart. Known for turning life’s most uncomfortable moments into laugh-out-loud comedy, Jay brings a raw, relatable energy to every stage he steps on.

Tucker Lawson is a homegrown Greenville comic. Born on the South Carolina–North Carolina border, he grew up on a dirt road, worked in politics for a decade, and earned a law degree. Tucker has been performing on stages across the South, including The Laughing Skull Lounge in Atlanta, The Lyric Theater in Oxford, MS, The Hi-Tone in Memphis, TN, and many more, for almost ten years. Don’t let his overgrown frat-boy persona fool you. Tucker is sharp, intellectual, and aggressively self-aware, blending rapid-fire wit with personal storytelling. He often explores themes like dating, religion, and identity with equal parts depth and absurdity. His delivery is energetic yet grounded in a thoughtful, almost philosophical perspective, and it is always sure to make you laugh.

Alex King is a comedian based in Charlotte, NC whose mix of personal storytelling and sharp observational humor has landed him performances at the Greenville Comedy Zone, features on Don't Tell Comedy, and showcases across the Southeast. As a millennial who's tired of living in unprecedented times, his comedy explores the absurdity of everyday life blended with even more absurd personal anecdotes. Regardless of venue, Alex connects with audiences through humor that's smart, unpredictable, and always authentic.

Josh “Laugh Coach” Woods is a former NFL strength coach turned stand-up comedian, blending football, family, and faith into laugh-out-loud stories. From breaking down game film to breaking down relationships, his playbook is equal parts locker room and living room. Whether he’s talking speed science or single dad life, Laugh Coach brings high energy, sharp timing, and a unique voice that turns every crowd into his team.

Ryan Gordon was born and raised in the mountains of Appalachia, starting his comedy journey in nearby Asheville. His comedy focuses a lot on his journey through recovery and intertwines dark subject matters with what he calls “subliminal hope.” His comedic videos on social media have gained him over 300K followers and he has been in a number of comedy festivals including the World Series of Comedy, Blue Ridge Comedy Festival, and Raleigh Comedy Festival.
