Major Events

Every Valentine’s Day weekend the Alchemy Comedy Theater produces Greenville’s biggest night of comedy. With improv, sketch, and stand-up, it’s a huge sampler platter of all the different kinds of shows and players from Alchemy, but in one single night.

The event is so big we take over one of Greenville’s larger theaters. This year the event is at Centre Stage. Seating is limited, so it’s always wise to pre-purchase your tickets when they go online. 

Camp Alchemy is a weekend retreat for adults who like improv, nature, and s’mores. 2024’s event will run from Friday afternoon, May 17th  to Sunday morning, May 19th at Paris Mountain’s Camp Buckhorn.

Once a year in late July, the Alchemy Comedy Theater does an all-day event. Comedians from across the city converge downtown for non-stop laughs.

If you can attend all shows (without dozing off into a deep and dreamless slumber), you could win a spot in our next Improv 101 class!

12 shows. Over 75 performers. Countless laughs. From November 5-9th, improvisers, stand-up comedians, and sketch comedy guests from across North America will converge on Greenville, SC for the 12th Annual New South Comedy Festival.

We are currently accepting performer submissions, but starting in October, you can purchase individual tickets to each show or use this pass to see all shows! Seating is limited and general admission, so it’s always wise to pre-purchase your tickets online and arrive early. All shows will be at the Alchemy Comedy Theater in downtown Greenville, SC.
