Description
Pontiac engine builders and restorers working with 350, 400, 428, or 455 V8s - this billet aluminum bracket set gives you a clean, reliable mounting solution for your alternator and power steering. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, these brackets are both beautiful and functional, with stainless steel adjusting rods that won't rust or corrode. The V-belt setup works with mechanical water pumps and requires the taller 4.5-inch water pump used from 1969 onward.
Important note - you need a driver's side cylinder head with six bolt holes in the end (earlier heads with only four holes will need additional parts not included). This kit fits a huge range of Pontiac models including 1969-1974 GTO, 1969-1976 Firebird/Trans Am, 1969-1977 Grand Prix, 1969-1981 LeMans, and many others. The package includes everything you need: power steering/alternator bracket, extension bracket, rear support bracket, two adjusting rods, all necessary screws, aluminum spacers, lock nut, washers, and installation manual.
