Friday March 14th

Dual Duel7:30PM – Dual Duel March Madness ($8)

This Friday’s early show is part of Alchemy Comedy’s 2nd Annual Dual Duel March Madness! Normally in Dual Duel, it’s two duos in a head-to-head comedy competition for points and your laughs. This month, each victory also helps decide the winner of a tournament ending with the finals on April 5th. In this week’s show it’s Jason Farr and Nicole on the Red Team vs Mandy and Kayla on the Blue Team. Come out and choose who walks away a victor, and who simply walks away. You may have seen improv games before, but you probably haven’t seen it like this!

9:00PM – Local Legends with stories from Steven Crane ($10)steven crane

Friday’s second show features the all-star cast of Local Legends doing improv based on the stories of a local person of note. This week hear stories from Steven Crane, owner and operator of the recently opened Beef Jerky Outlet in Magnolia Park on Woodruff. Steven moved to the Greenville area in 2009 and is an active member of PULSE. He and his wife, both Clemson grads, live in Simpsonville with their 2-year-old daughter, Caroline. After about a year of planning, they opened the Beef Jerky Outlet in December of last year, perfect timing for the nearby Cabela’s opening later this month. Come out this Friday night to satiate your hunger for improv comedy.

Friend of the theater Mandy Butler will be performing as a special guest in Local Legends and Dual Duel.

Saturday March 15th

Dual Duel7:30PM – Dual Duel March Madness ($8)

This Saturday’s early show is part of Alchemy Comedy’s 2nd Annual Dual Duel March Madness! Normally in Dual Duel, it’s two duos in a head-to-head comedy competition for points and your laughs. Come out and choose who walks away a victor, and who simply walks away. You may have seen improv games before, but you probably haven’t seen it like this!

9:00PM – March Madness CageMatch with The Batbox vs. 3’s Co. ($10)CAGEMATCH

CageMatch is a clashing of two improv teams showcasing their talent for audience votes. The winner moves on to become the champion for the next CageMatch, competing against a new challenger. This week pits the all-in-your-head games of the BatBox vs. that lovable trio, 3’s Co.

The BatBox : The BatBox is unique among Alchemy’s shows in that most shows leave the lights on. The BatBox, however, performs in the dark, the players seated on stage, allowing the audience’s pure, unencumbered imagination to shape what’s visually happening on stage.

3′s Co. : Unlike the sitcom, this house of three is made up of Jason Underwood, Ben Burris and Meg Pierson as GIRL. This high-class team will be performing scenes based on candid couple interviews, making no attempts to hide the fun from Mr. Roper.
