March 15th: Dual Duel and Femmeprov with Traysie Amick

8:00PM – Dual Duel: March Madness ($5)

This Friday’s 8pm show is the third week of Alchemy’s first ever Dual Duel March Madness! Normally in Dual Duel, it’s two duos in a head-to-head comedy competition for points and your laughs. This month, each victory also decides the winner of a tournament ending with the finals on April 5th. In this week’s show it’s Walter and Griffin on the Red Team vs Wendy and Traysie on the Blue Team. Come out and help decide who walks away a victor, and who simply walks away. You may have seen improv games before, but you probably haven’t seen it like this!

9:30PM – Femmeprov presents Local Legends with Traysie Amick ($8)Traysie

At 9:30 this week the all-female cast of Femmeprov performs scenes inspired by the true stories of a guest in Local Legends. Come out and see scenes based on the stories of local actress and director Traysie Amick. Traysie is employed full time as the Education Coordinator at the South Carolina Children’s Theater and provides stage and technical direction for shows around the Upsate. She is also a founding member of the Distracted Globe improv troupe and is regularly a cast member at Cafe & Then Some.

This week Traysie will not only be the story teller, but a guest player in Femmeprov’s Local Legends.

The regular cast of Local Legends will be performing at TEDx Furman this Friday, providing Greenville multiple opportunities to catch some great Alchemy Comedy.
