For the month of March Alchemy’s annual Dual Duel March Madness Improv Competition returns! The prelims will take place every Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. These shows will features four teams of two going head to head (to head to head) for your laughs and your votes. You may have some games like this on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, but here the points matter.  Audience votes determine the winner who moves on and goes home with a women’s volleyball trophy. The losers just go home!

Local Legends
Fridays at 9pm

Local Legends is Alchemy’s flagship improv comedy show. With a different special guest storyteller each Friday night, this fully improvised show is brand new every time. The personal stories told by local celebrities inspire a series scenes made up right before your eyes. Here are our guests for the month:

  • March 13th: Jamie Costa, Celebrity Impressionist
  • March 20th: Brian Coker, Local Actor
  • March 27th: Improv comedy inspired by stand up comics

Sketch Review
Saturdays at 9pm

Also starting in March, Saturdays at 9pm will also be our weekly scripted sketch comedy show. Although all the sketches are written and rehearsed beforehand, the order -decided by the audience- is random. Every show features new sketches and, of course, a new order. Some pieces are poignant and some are political. Some are serious and some are absurd. Some are musical and some are silent. It’s everything you would expect from a formal sketch revue, but in review!

We also never want finances to be a deterrent for any student enjoying the classes. To request a partial or full camp scholarship just contact us using the methods above.
