Local Legends: Improv Comedy Inspired by stories from Alexandra Gonzalez

Friday October 19, 2018 from 9:00 PM to 10:15 PM

Local Legends is the Alchemy Comedy Theater's flagship weekly improv show. Every Friday night at 9:00pm, a different local legend (person of note) tells their own local legends (personal stories) to inspire this fully improvised show.

Alexandra Gonzalez is a Greenville native, born of Colombian parents. Her passion to help others plays an essential role in her career. She is the president of The A Group, an interpreting and translating agency that primarily focuses on medical and legal cases. In the past year she has expanded her business to serve local non- profit organizations. From a young age Alexandra has been an active volunteer in her community with local organizations and schools such as the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Hispanic Alliance, Latinos United, Lakeview and Berea Middle Schools, among others. She currently serves on the board of LeadHer and Prospanica. In 2017 she was featured in Talk Magazine as one the “25 Most Beautiful” and also in Click Magazine for the “Hispanic Women Who Inspire” edition. She is a fierce advocate for organizations such as TEAL (ovarian cancer awareness) NAMI, and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. She considers her role in the community as the “LINK BETWEEN CULTURES.”
