Jim Burton grew up in Anderson, where he spent his time doing high school theater and making public access comedy shows. Jim took his first improv class with the Village Idiots in Raleigh, NC in 2011. He began the Alchemy Comedy training program in 2015 and joined the company later that year. In his day job, Jim works for Clemson University as a systems programmer for the High Performance Computing group. He lives in Clemson with his wife and two children.
