8:00PM – Dual Duel: Competitive Improv Games ($5)

This Friday’s 8pm show is Alchemy Comedy’s players in Dual Duel. Two duos in a head-to-head comedy competition for points and your laughs. There will be a few familiar games like those featured on the show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, as well as some Alchemy favorites.  In this week’s show it’s guest team Chris White and Traysie Amick on the Blue Team vs Wendy and Brad on the Red Team. Come out and help decide who walks away a victor, and who simply walks away. You may have seen improv games before, but you probably haven’t seen it like this!

9:30PM – Local Legends with stories from Chris White ($8)969602_384144688370061_501112742_n

At 9:30 stories from a guest inspire scenes from the all-star cast of Local Legends. This week, see scenes based loosely on the stories from local filmmaker Chris White. Some of you may recognize Chris from his previous appearances as a storyteller, as a guest in the improvised documentary, and when he filmed and produced our mockumentary. This week Chris is back with 5 more stories about his life making “artistically ambitious, non-cynical narrative feature films for his family, friends, and fans,” as well as the upstate premiere of his new short film Fully Detached. Local Legends this week will also feature guest player (and Chris’ former improv partner) Traysie Amick.

Fully Detached  was produced and directed by Chris White, co-produced by Emily Reach White, written and edited by Geoffrey Gunn. Starring Vicky Saye Henderson of TrustusTheatre, with Jennifer Baxley, Keri Keith Lumm, and Alchemy’s own Ben Burris.
