8:00PM – Ladies Night : Femprov Games ($5)
It is a sad fact of the comedy arts that women are terribly under-represented. At Alchemy we’ve always believed that women are at no disadvantage when it comes to being sharp, bold, and hilarious on-stage, and we are celebrating to that end with a Ladies Night of improv. The 8pm show consists of 3 of Alchemy’s funny ladies along with guest Mandy Butler playing improv games. Some games are fan-favorites, others are being performed for the first time at Alchemy. All ladies and gentleman welcome.
9:30PM – Local Legends with stories from Emily Reach White ($8)
Ladies Night continues with an all female cast of a very special Local Legends featuring stories from Emily Reach White. Emily is a writer and is seeking her PhD in sickness literature. She has formerly worked in corporate law and is currently the co-founder and COO of Paris MTN Scout, a film distribution company started by her and her husband Chris White. Their most recent film is Get Better, a feature length film on a micro-budget, and they have recently begun work on their next film Sweet & Awful. Come out and enjoy what is sure to be a fantastic show!
