8:00PM – Most Races Show on Earth: Stand-Up ($10)
An internationally touring, multi-cultural stand-up show fills in the 8 o’clock show this Friday. The Most Races Show on Earth “delivers a unique stand-up comedy show that is FUNNY and EDGY, yet lets us laugh at our differences and tackle ethnic stereotypes, while educating audiences about diversity and multiculturalism. It is comedy with a PURPOSE. Our aim is to bring all people together through laughter.” Not all the comedy is about race, and it promises to be a show for everyone, so come out and enjoy. A portion of the proceeds from each show will go towards the YWCA Stand Against Racism initiative.
9:30PM – Local Legends with stories from members of MRSOE ($8)
Friday’s second show features a fully improvised show based on the stories of the cast of Most Races Show on Earth. Five of the performers from MRSOE will inspire improv scenes with their personal, real stories. The regular cast of Local Legends will be accompanied by guest player Wendy Mcclain will bring her energy to make a one-of-a-kind show.
