8:00PM – Dual Duel ($5)
This Friday’s 8pm show is Alchemy Comedy’s players in Dual Duel. Two duos in a head-to-head comedy competition for points and your laughs. We will have a few familiar games like those featured on the show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, as well as some Alchemy favorites. In this week’s show it’s Ron and Walter on the Red Team vs Wendy and Mandy (our guest for Local Legends at 9:30) on the Blue Team. Come out and help decide who walks away a victor, and who simply walks away. You may have seen improv games before, but you probably haven’t seen it like this!
9:30PM – Local Legends with stories from Mandy Butler ($8)
At 9:30 stories from a guest inspire scenes from the all-star cast of Local Legends. Our guest this week is an improviser who has been involved with several improv theaters including the Annoyance in Chicago, Improv Nashville, the Whole World Theater in Atlanta and others. She also has a passion for non-improv acting with a BA in Theatre Performance and an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy, which informs her Meisner in Improv workshop that she has hosted around the world (like the Istanbul International Improv Festival). She has recently moved to Whitmire, South Carolina and we are absolutely thrilled to have her as a performer in Dual Duel and as the storyteller at 9:30.
