8:00PM – Homage Presents: Improvised Documentary ($5)
It has often been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Alchemy loves and supports all of the performing arts. Out of this comes Homage, a team that seeks to make an improvised version of all things scripted. This week Homage, along with filmmaker and improviser Chris White, performs an improvised documentary on-stage based on a single suggestion from the audience.
9:30PM – Local Legends with stories from TimTV ($8)
Friday’s second show features the all-star cast of Local Legends doing improv based on the stories of Tim “TimTV” March. Tim is the definition of entertainer: fire-eater, stilt-walker, hoola-hooper, the list goes on. He’s performed at TEDx Greenville, Burning Man, and you can catch him most Friday nights out on Main Street. This Friday, however, he’ll be busy adding “Storyteller at Alchemy Comedy Theater” to his extensive entertainment resume. Come out for a show that is sure to be a one-of-a-kind experience.
